Self-service Password Reset
You can easily reset your network password by yourself whether you are connected to the network or not. Be sure to have Microsoft Authenticator set up first.
Instructions
1. To reset your own password, go to https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com/. Enter your email address (do not use your z or v number).
2. Select the reason you are having trouble signing in.
- The first option “I forgot my password” is used to reset the Active Directory password.
- The second option “I know my password, but still can’t sign in” is used to unlock the Active Directory password.
3. Select the first method of verifying your account by choosing from the available options (e.g., text my mobile phone, call my mobile phone, etc.).
4. Select the second method of verifying your account by choosing from the available options (e.g., text my mobile phone, call my mobile phone, etc.).
5. Choose a new password.
6. Your new password should be reset.
